This portrait originally started out with me wanting to do something based on the Chemical Brother’s song “Where Do I Begin”, but somewhere along the way I lost the important element of the coffee cup and ended up with a close-up portrait with some interesting dithering. I had planned to animate this by shifting the colours between different palettes, but I couldn’t get that to look the way I wanted.
